School Sessions
Cancellation Policy.
Our Coaches time needs to be paid for and sessions are only profitable if we meet the minimum threshold of children in a class, so our aim is to keep every class full.
With this in mind, we ask for a minimum of one month’s notice per participant for all customers that should wish to terminate their basketball sessions with Storm Basketball Foundation. Ideally, we would prefer customers to see out the term.
Should you need to end your lessons due to a change in personal circumstances then as long as you have given at least one month’s notice we will refund 50% of any further lessons paid after the months’ notice period. If we have a waiting list for this class and are able to fill the space immediately then we will issue a 100% refund for any further lessons that have been paid for, provided we have received one weeks notice.
Should we face poor weather, sessions will be moved to an indoor space if available. If no indoor space is available then sessions will take place in a classroom in the form of a quiz, drawing competition, or video analysis session.
In case of session cancellation, catch up sessions will be offered at the club on either a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday.
Any refunds requested by the payer as a result of revoking a confirmed booking, not supplying the required notice period, failing to complete the proper cancellation procedure or making duplicate or additional payments in error are at the discretion of the Club and will be subject to an additional £4.00 charge deducted from the refund itself.
Baby Ballers
Baby Ballers Spectators
While spectators are more than welcome to attend our Baby Ballers sessions, we encourage independent participation, following the model of our older age group sessions. This approach helps foster self-reliance from a young age.
For our Pre-School & Reception session (3-4 Year Olds & Reception), we recommend parents stay to the sides of the Dance Studio. However, if your child needs your support, you are welcome to come in and assist them.
We kindly request that spectators remain outside the sports hall and behind the viewing glass during our Reception & Year 1 session. Our coaches will ensure that children are brought to the door to meet parents if needed.
There are no spectators for the Year 1 & 2 session, but there will be a 'watching week' during the last week of each half term, where parents are allowed inside the gym to view.
